I'm gettting so EXCITED!!! I am going to Las Vegas with hubby on Sunday. I will be there thru Tuesday. This is the FIRST time we will travel alone(without kids). We never had a honeymoon, cause I had a miscarriage. That was 14 years ago. Question.. What do you guys like to do there?? What is WLS friendly to go to eat??? What shows do you like?? (Not to pricey I want to see Phantom(that will take the most $) & not sure which other) TIPS PLEASE!!!!! Tanya L 358/211/185

yahooo for you. I have put in a request to go to a conference in Phoenix in December. If I end up going I will hit Vegas for a few days. I did that a few years ago and had a ball. Due to travel on a tight purse string I stayed at Circus,Circus not bad. I was about to tell you about Slots of Fun's hot dog but ... I totally forgot about the food I have to eat now. ps they also had a hugh strawberry short cake for short money.... but again.... oh well. You have to hit the Tremont St. experience. It was awesome and free. Not sure if your renting a car or not, but you can take the public bus to Tremont st.... it looks like your traveling in a bad area, but were they drop you off is fine. They have a show every hour. It is an overhead movie with surround sound playing. When we went into one of the casinos their they were filming one of the poker tournaments you see on tv. We walked through the Venetian hotel gondolas it was great, when you walk the sky actually looks like the clouds are moving. Again a free-b- there are all kinds of shops that you can visit. As far as shows go a lot of the hotels have stuff going on out side that you can enjoy just by walking by. I would check with concierge about what you could pick up when your there. I hope you have a great time, will be thinking of you... donna

Hi Tanya, you are going to have a great time!! I think you are there just the right amount of time - any more and it would be too long! I don't think you'll have any trouble eating (cheap cheap eats!!) cause there are so many buffets that let you chose healthy foods. I dont have any suggestion, but have fun, wear lots of sun screen, and remember, this is what someone once told - Las Vegas wasn't built by winners!! lovve donna

You're Lucky. oh nice. we went to Las Vegas before surgery so eating for us now I don't know about. But just make the right choices and remember PROTEIN first. Even if you do a buffet you could still follow the rules. We stayed at the Flamingo and went to see a show. The Phantom is supposed to be soooooooo good! We went to Freemont Street. That was nice. It's closed up so you walk the street and they have all different things going on there with the light show above. Have fun and think of us. and come home with a jackpot. Koukla
