THANK YOU!

I want to thank my anniversary elf! I received my gift in the mail on Saturday which was perfect since that was my 1 year anniversary! I received a picture frame and WLS journal - they were even more special because they were hand made! Thank you so much It's been an amazing journey and with the exception of this little ulcer thing everything has been wonderful! I am a new person - I've lost 128 pounds in a year and can't believe what I can do now. I hope to lose another 30 pounds to be at my goal but if I stayed exactly where I am right now I would be happy - I'm in a size 12 jeans down from size 24/26 and somewhere between a medium and large shirt down from 3X - I never imagined feeling this good about myself. (I'm not thrilled with the skin but until I hit lotto or my insurance says they will cover plastics I will have to live with it! ) I exercise daily and walk more now than I did when I was a teenager walking everywhere! I feel like a teenager again at times. Thank you all for being here when I had a question or just needed support. Altho I didn't post on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis I read the site all the time...I kept up with all the accomplishments and even the set backs - Most of the time I don't have to ask a question because it's right there being asked by someone else! You're all wonderful - Thank you Paula for thinking of doing this anniversary gift - I think it's a great way of commemorating our accomplishments! And it's always fun receiving presents!!! Thank you again to my elf - I will think of you every time I write in my journal or look at my 1 year photo which I will display in the frame! Love, Linda

Linda, When I sent your gift I thought that we were not supposed to tell who were yet, but I guess I was wrong because mine had a name on it. I am really glad that you liked it. Like I said it was the first time I tried something like that, but I am really glad that you like it. Love, Christine
