Those long, deflated things hanging on our chest that used to be so nice and, well perky in their own little way!! What a mess, right!! Well girls, here is something that I want to encourage you to do to YOUR girls!! When they are nice and soft and well, shall I say empty, it is a good time to check for any small lumps. I know we all do that, right!! Well last night while I was checking it dawned on my how much easier it was to feel anything abnormal. So I thought I would pass that along to you guys. So -- go do it!! Okay, and then in another vein, stand up, put your hands on your waist, and feel!! Hmmm, what are those hard things on the side -- oh my gosh, they're bones!! Who would have thought that we had bones there. And if you don't feel them yet, you will, and I bet you feel less padding than you did, right!! All these little body things -- ain't llife grand!! Have a good day. love donna

Hey Jacqueline, yeah it was a 'slow' night for me last night so I did the ole self exam (no one else doing much checking there!!!) and thought how easier it was to feel things. I've always been 'lumpy' and now it's a little less. Oh well, this is probably more information that anyone out there wants to know. I just think how awful it would be to have come this far and have such a wonderful life ahead of us and then to get something like breast cancer or something else. Talk about a cruel joke!! Well, and on that happy little note, have a great day/evening Ms Jacqueline! love donna

Donna, Thanks for the reminder. I'm TERRIBLE at remembering the self exam. I truly take it for granted to do it. You're right, it is easier to feel things in them now. I have to keep watch, for benign (thank God) lumps are common in the women in my family around age 50. I have 8 years to go. I'm over due for my mamo, too. I keep forgetting to make an appt. Must do that this week. I've lost SO much in my breasts. Fat and firmness too. They hung low before, but now they're flat tires!!! I just have to roll them up and tuck them into my bra. LOL Not enough to lift or augment. I would have to do a small implant, but I hate how they look. I'll just keep with my molded bras from TJ Maxx! Maybe the arm and upper body workouts at swimming will pay off! Thanks for the heads up! paula

Hi Paula, it is easy to forget and you'll probably laugh but this is how I remember -- the first of the month I change the air conditioning filter (if it needs it), give the dogs their heartworm meds and tick stuff, and do a breast exam!! The first of the month is always busy, but it's a good way for me to remember to do it. love donna

Donna, You are too funny. But you are so right. They are easier to check. And the hip bones --- I was sleeping one night and I felt I was on something hard. oh yea, it was my hip bone. And my butt.... that's funny too. Have a great day. Koukla

Yes, such a difference ! I go see my gyno next week. I will be a hundred pounds less than when I saw him last year.... And those bones on my hips ????I am amazed that they are there along with being able to feel my ribcage ! And collar bones ! Every little thing amazes me anymore .... Sandy

Great suggestion. I have to laugh, when I was heavy I didn't get my period-- not really a bad thing, other than it is unhealthy. Well my gyno was "ok you need to do a monthly breast exam" and I said sure "I know due to my mom's 4 aunts all had cancer etc." He said to me "to remember just due it when you get your period" now I looked at him with my open mouth gapping.... I was in the office because I had amenorea (SP)--- I don't get my period.......It was so "Dah" Now as far as the hip bones. Hubby's favorite thing other than grabbing at my a@@ when he can, is to grab my hip bones. He loves to see me jump...... d
