New Challenge for our one year anniversary...
So, here we are just a stone's throw away from our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Can you believe it? I can't. I can say I DO feel a huge difference in my breathing, back and knee aches, my self-esteem and my joy. Thank God for this gift. As some may have read, I have been having a very difficult time behaving myself food-wise and want to stir up some last minute motivation before our one year celebration. Christine suggested I present another challenge like the walking one a while back. So, for myself, I have 26 more days left until I turn one.
I really want this year to go out with a bang, don't you?
My challenge is for anyone interested to make it a goal to walk 3 miles a day? Is that too much? Maybe two? I don't know what you all think. I know 3 would be a challenge for me, but I could work it in, between walking at the Y and doing my Leslie Sansone video. What do you guys think? I want to be reasonable. Let us know so we can set it up.
*Take care,
Kelly

I loved the challenge in April to walk two miles a day and because of it I am now running 4 miles 5 times a week. I think challenges get you motivated and are also a lot of fun. To actually do it everyday was the challenge for me. So, while I can committ to the 5 days a week I am already doing, I will certainly cheer for those who will do all 7 days. Best Wishes, Jacqueline
Jacqueline,
That is just SOOO great that you are actually RUNNING at all! Could you imagine that a year ago? I have alot more energy but wow.
No, did I say 7 days??
I do believe 5 days a week is GREAT, at least for me. To be honest, I hope that I can actually DO 3 miles a day since I'm not active. We shall see.
Congrats on the running, I'm impressed!

Hi Sweet Kelly, let's email!!
Okay dearie, I don't think I can do three miles. I might try. But here's another thought -- how about an additional challenge regarding eating!! No sweets, no 'bad' carbs, no??? That might be a good one too since you are having food issues right now.
Okay, here's another thought. I'll challenge you to stop eating sweets until your 'birthday' and to match that I will walk three miles a day until your birthday!! Are you up for it?? I am.
Ready -- get set --

Donna, you're back! I'm glad. You're a great cheerleader.
Well, yeah, 3 miles is a lot for me too, I didn't know exactly what a "challenge" would be to the rest of you. I'm gonna strive for it though. Do ya think if I wussed out and changed it to 2 miles a day, that would be a bad thing? I am so glad you gave an additional challenge. That's exciting! Well, it's scary to imagine no bad carbs/no sweets until my 'birthday' but I know I can do it. It's not too far away and I definately need to break this wreckless cycle that I'm stuck on. Thanks a bunch for helping me out. I'm glad you had a good trip. And oh, your mom's reaction...how sweet. I bet that made it all worth while to you, didn't it?
~Hugs,
Kelly
