funny wow moment

Last night I was at my son's hockey practice. Usually it is very quite with not many people around. Last night the teams had to pick up there new jersey's for the up coming season.First off the women handing out the new stuff didn't recognize me. I didn't say anything because I had only met them once or twice so it wasn't a big deal. - They know my husband real well and I have spoken on the phone with them on a number of occasions but wouldn't really expect them to know me by sight. So in walks one of the moms from my son's team last year. She is 8 months pregnant. I jumped up walked over to her talking a mile a minute asking how she is doing, how the kids are, how the hubby is, gave her a big hug and put my hand on her swollen belly. She looked mortified and I had no idea what was wrong until I realized she didn't recognize me. It took a few minutes of me talking to her for her to know me. I can't help but laugh thinking about how she looked as this "stranger" came up and started touching her belly -- by the way neither of us are the touchy feelie type-- The funnier part to this was after the women left the other women and one of my husband asst. coaches realized who I was and started talking to me-- we all had a good laugh-- I just don't realize that people don't recognize me that much..... donna

Too funny . I had a similar experience. I sat down at a school program and looked over and there was a mom whos son was on my sons soccer team for two years. I started talking to her and asked so how have you been she looked confused and said fine who are you? I laughed and said oh yeah i forget im Logans mom. Her eyes about popped out of her head lol she said I would never have known you. Im thinking thats a good thing. Tammy O
