How many Calories are you eatting??
I just did fitday.com and my total intake was 1492 calories, But I had a muffin this morning from Duckin Donuts and I looked it up on there site and it has 400 calories I won't be eatting that again. So what I ate today minus the muffin is about what I eat everyday so that would be about 1100 aday is that OK?? I gained 2 pounds and I don't like it!! I need to drink more water I know for a fact that I don't drink enough, crap some days I don't drink any

Well I went to fitday and so far my calories for the day were like 1055 and that didnt count the bag of lowfat chips I had or the hand full of combos... I was at the fair so I guess it could have been worse...I had 5 chicken nuggets, like 5-6 french fries, I had 2 glasses of 16oz lemonade...with sweet n low....2 cups of milk...around 4 cups of coffee....w/sweetnlow....a cheeseburger with half bun...oh yea and some popcorn..2 tootsie rolls...maybe it was probably alot more with that popcorn and tootsie rolls.. I was trying to make sure...but i also did walk alot..I had to work and walk alot
usually between 1200 and 1300. There're several websites where you can put in your weight and activitly level and it'll tell you number of calories needed to maintain that weight...and of course you can put in a lower # of lbs.
here's one:
http://www.calorie-count.com/calories/calories-goal.php
or just google: calories needed to maintain weight
Some of the sites will give you a much higher number...one of them puts me at needing 2100 calories a day to maintain 155.
have fun.
I try and use fit day regularly. I hadn't in a while and have actually gained 3 lbs. Could be the drinking I did for 4 days in a row..... see other posts....Now that I am back on track I try and get under 1200. Some days it can be as low as 800 but usually right in the 1000-1200 range.
Another good web site is sparkpeople.com- it is a bit more bulky but offers a bunch more options. It lets you record workout and exercise and this week I am using the menu and shopping guide to get good ideas on what to eat...
