Surgery to be scheduled....

Hi all!!! I went and had my endoscope yesterday, and it revealed absolutely nothing! My surgeon suggests taking my gallbladder out as soon as I can schedule it. I will probably have it scheduled the last week of August, I find out today. Just wanted to share! ~~em

Gallbladder surgery after weight loss is very common. I was lucky (?) mine was taken out 12 years ago.....I hope it goes well for you and you get to feel better real soon. donna

Hi Emily, I'm glad that they're going to take out the GB. It's probably the cause. People with their GB's and that have rapid weight loss tend to get GB disease. Keep your chin up. I hear it's a pretty easy surgery. Keep us posted. paula
