I have been off track for 8 weeks and have even gained a couple of pounds so I decided to join Weigh****chers for the support. I already write down everything I eat so this shouldn't be hard to count my points. Last time I joined WW I lost 65lbs but gained most of it back when I stopped going. I know this will get me back on track. So far today I am doing well. Catching yourself when you fall off track early on is key to not gaining the weight back. Anyone else fall off track and got right back up? Maggie 309/219/135 84 more to go!! Wow!! Get moving Maggie

Didn't your surgeon offer support groups post op? Most do. Mine does, they're held at the hospital where I had surgery once a week, but, they're an hour away and I don't always have the energy or a babysitter to get to them... CHeck out your area hospitals to see if there may be WLS support groups near you. You may benefit from them better than the WW. And, they're usually free. paula

Hi Maggie, I remember when I was first looking into WLS and I read on the main board about several who were following the South Beach Diet, and I remember thinking, dont forget this was very early on, -- what! Following a diet after the surgery, I thought we wouldn't have to 'diet' anymore!! Surprise surprise. Good luck, I'm like you I need support, but for me the support I get from this board along with support meetings I go to from my area seem to be doing it for me right now. Keep us informed - it's good to see you post! Ang congratulations on your weight loss - almost out of the 200's!! Keep it up!! love donna
