Thanks for you visit to our board!!!

I just wanted to thank all of you who took the time to write about your personal stories. It is nice to hear from you all who have been through it. I will listen to your advice. I am having my surgery Sept. 20th and am so excited! I am sure you can all remember the pre-op time and waiting. It is great to hear about your successes in your weight loss. I know it will happen to me but it seems hard to believe. Again, thanks so much for the visit!

Hi Sharon, oh yeah - the wait!! Would it ever come. You're so right - it does seem surreal. I remember when I was close to surgery (now don't let this get you nervous****pt thinking I would fall and break something and they wouldn't be able to do surgeery, or I would get sick, or some other weird thing. I was just so excited to get it done. Or my surgeon would fall!! I remember I was scheduled for 7:30 a.m. and they called me a day before and rescheduled for 11:30. The nurse said that the operating room the doc liked to use wasn't available. I remember thinking, whatever works for him works for me!! I want him to be oh so comfortable -- you want music, I'll bring my own Boise wave for you!!! Good luck Sharon, and thanks for the response! love donna
