Lunch today with Courtney!

Hi everyone, well I had a very delightful lunch today with Courtney, who is on this board (I can't remember what her tag name is -- maybe CV?? -- not sure!!)) Also, she doesn't have a picture, which we are going to take care of since I took a nice picture for her to post. Anyway -- we met at TGIFridays and it was so nice to meet in person another September baby. And by the way -- she looks absolutely awesome!! I told her if I didn't know I would never guess she had ever been obese, or that she had had the surgery -- she looks, well, awesome!! Dang, I wish I had had this done 20 years ago!! Anyway, I thought I would share this with you all, as well as a couple of pictures. And yes, by the way, I know my tops are way too big (gotta get out of 1X) and my shoulders have gotten puny and I can't keep my tops over my underware!!! Courtney promised that she would go shopping with me and help me buy some new threads!! I just have so much trouble thinking about being out of 1X. I don't know why - must be a psychological thing (where's a good therapist when you need her!!) I hope you all can open these pictures, I've never done it like this before. Thanks again Courtney for coming out on a Saturday and lunching with me!! You're right....you both look fantastic...Courtney, how much did you lose all together? You look really thin. I guess we're all getting to that point where we're looking "thin" instead of "fat". I'm glad that you got to meet and have a nice lunch! I'm jealous! paula

Hi Paula, I've lost about 125. I really want to loose about 10 more pounds and I will be at my adjusted goal. However right now, I'm just 1 pound away from having a normal BMI... Getting together in person with Donna was great....If you are ever in the DC area .... let us know!! Courtney

Meeting Donna today was wonderful. She is even nicer, more supportive, and more beautiful (outside and in) than she seems to be from the September list--WHO would have thought that was possible. Thanks Donna--I had a great time and really enjoyed myself. We will definately have to do it again...

Hey Courtney, it was so so nice today. I just can't tell you how much I enjoyed meeting you, and talking to you, and just comparing all our little stories. I feel like I've known you for ever -- you are so easy to be with. I hope you got to your class okay and not too late. Promise you'll do this again with me! Have a nice rest of your weekend. Hi Pam, I would love to go to NY and have lunch with you!! I don't see it happening real soon though. But wouldn't it be fun to do a get together (maybe east coast and west coast) sometime? And not just lunch, but maybe a weekend at a hotel. love donna
