New Dress
I had to go out and buy a new "funeral" dress Saturday. I tried on the one from my nephews- it was a size 16. Told my DH that it would be fine. He started giving me a hard time saying it was way to big and we need to go out shopping....
We went to Dressbarn- don't want to spend to much at this point. I picked out a couple of 14's and he was like no try these on. I looked and they we 10's I said that it wasn't my size. He just kept on insisting and being a general pain in the a@@. Long story short I got this incredible dress in a size 10. I couldn't believe it. I tried on 3 size 10 and 2 size 12 dresses all fit great. In the mean time DH is like "told you so". The whole time we were out at the wake he was bragging about picking out my dress for me. So I am an official size 10-12

Hey Donna, (thanks for the nice compliment on my new 'face'!!). First, congratulations you skinny hot biker chick!! Who would have thought huh, 10-12. It just keeps getting better and better -- and for those out there not to this point yet, you will be!! That is the total beauty of this process. It works - if we work it right.
This is a timely post for me You know I mentioned my daughter was visiting last week and I hadn't seen her since April which was about 25-30 pounds or so ago Well she was very taken with my progress, but commented to me so many times that I looked sloppy and my clothes were too big, and I had a fat head, and needed to get in smaller clothes I still buy 1X! I just can't get past that. So I may do like you, and try some on and see. She said 'mom, I like that shirt, it's way too big, what size is it', and I said ahhh I'm not sure and she looked and said 'mom, stop buying 1X!! It's hard though I am going shopping today with my 'kids' visiting and may just may try on an XL top for fun. I am in a 12 pants, but maybe, I'll try a 10 just for grins I know it won't fit, but just to see
By the way, the period key on my keypad came off and I can't put it on and it doesn't work so no periods -- or not many!! Sorry,
Have a fun day
love

It was an aunt who passed. She had cancer and died in a lot of pain, so it was one of those happy that she is in a better place but very sad because she left behind 6 very loving children and a boat load of grandchildren. She is only a few years older than my mom and it puts our own mortality so up there.
thanks for your thoughts.

Donna,
Sorry to hear about your aunt. It is nice to hear that your husband is so supportive. I guess mine has his days. Isn't it the coolest feeling when you fit into something that you look at and think that you will never get your butt into. My sister gave me a pair of running pants a few weeks ago, and I told her to take them home that they would never fit me. I think I told her about 5 times that my a@@would never get into them. I could have done a dance when they fit me. Keep up the good work.
