Fiber help

I have been using Fitday.com to monitor my eating habits, and I realize I am hardly getting any fiber into my diet. No wonder I am constipated! I am kinda scared about using the powder-in-drinks because what if it swells up in my pouch? And I don't do real well with pills (still using chewable vitamins). Any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks! Oh, and I should mention that I still absolutely cannot tolerate any type of bread, pasta, or tortillas.

How abut crackers? Some are high in fiber like triscuits or others. I cannot remember the one I buy but it is a 5 grain cracker and has some fiber..not a lot, but some. Best wishes. Jacqueline

Fibercon tablets work they are chewable and taste similar to a sweettart. They are about 10 bucks a bottle and you chew two a day. They dont give you that swelled bloated feeling. Tammy O

Veggies....eat veggies high in fiber and you'll go really smoothly all the time... Try adding some.... Like: cabbage broccoli green leafy veggies Also, try the South Beach Diet cereal. It's high in fiber and protein and will also make you go! The Kashi does too! paula

BENEFIBER!!!! It doesn't swell and it does the trick. Tastes exactly like nothing. Put it in water and you can't even tell. I"ve had a lot of constipation problems and I swear by the stuff. Also stool softeners help a lot....but those are pills. Best of luck

I bought a similar type of product like the Benefiber, called Fiber Choice. Completely tasteless and clear. Man, I am getting in so much more fiber now my tummy is making lots of noise LOL! It is so nice to "go" every other day instead of once a week, never thought being regular would make me so happy
