I have not posted on this board forever. I read it all the time from work but I am unable to post from my computer at work. Anyway, I feel I have done fairly well overall, I am down 118 lbs (since Aug 2005-pre surgery diet). I have lost a total of 4 lbs for a month and nothing the last week. I do strength training twice a week and step aerobics twice a week. Should I try and get some walking in too? I make sure and get a least 80 grams of protein in a day and 80-100 oz of water a day. I have been trying to keep track of everything on fitday & I think my carb intake is a little high. Does anyone have any sugguestions? I would love to loose the last 25 lbs and make it to my goal of 160. Thanks, Monica K

Monica you look great. I have found that if I switch things up it will help start weight loss again. Usually I will eat mostly carbs for a whole day then then next day mostly protein and waaalaaaa I start losing. Micha

Mine had stalled, but purely because I got lazy with my diet. So, I cut out the Starbucks Caramel Macchiatos (sp?) and switched the regular ice cream to no-sugar added. Oh, and I put myself on diuretics for a week. Lost 7 lbs this week (4 lbs of tha****er weight)!

Hi, I recommend increase exercise...walking is great!!, decrease carbs and increase protein. The water sounds good and ya know? Those last 25lbs are gonna always be tough. I am struggling with the last 10-15 and feel like I loose a few, gain a few and I am sooooooooo close.... Take it easy and know your body needs time to adjust. With losing so much it might just need a week or so off from loosing. Believe me...I have had a few stalls that I thought might last FOREVER!! and then just changed intensity of workouts( I run so that meant running faster miles or with incline increased) or loading proteins and nothing else. Relax and know if this is YOUR FIRST STALL...you are way ahead of most of us on this forum.... Enjoy your new life more than 100 pounds less and best wishes for continued success. jacqueline
