Hair still falling out & dry!

My hair is still falling out and I had thin hair to begin with so I'm starting to get a little freaked out about it. Also, the texture of my hair is very different than it used to be, it's very dry. Anyone else having the same issues or found something that is helping?

Zinc and Biotin work for me. I get them from GNC. Surgeon said OK.

I was lucky in that my hair stopped falling out at about 4-5 months. I too, used Biotin three times a day and that seemed to help. The texture of my hair did not change. Good luck. jacqueline

My hair stopped falling out but it was dry and brittle (and I normally have very oily hair!) I now use Alterna Age-Defying Caviar Shampoo and Conditioner. You can buy it in beauty supply stores, it is wickedly expensive but I can get it cheaper on eBay. Anyway, my hair has NEVER looked so good or felt so wonderful. My grandmother always said you get what you pay for, guess she was right

:wave :wave My surgeon recommended that I take 2500 mg Biotin, Trader Joe's Once Once Daily Womens multi, and a 1000 mg capsule of Flax Seed Oil every day and my hair is getting back to normal after being totally dried out and falling out every day. Are you taking the vitamins your surgeon recommended every day? Are you getting any fat in your diet? I know fat seems like a dirty word, but good fat (like the flax seed oil) may be what your hair needs to feed your hair and make it healthy again.

My hiar started falling out at 3 months and continues. I get in all my protein and have tried biotin shampoo and nioxin capsules and MSM vitamin and nothing has helped. Oh, and I take 900mg of biotin a ady. I am going to take 2500 mg staRTING TODAY AS SOMEONE HAS RECOMMENDED ON THIS REPLY. I started Flaxseed oil about 2 months ago and that doesn't seem to work either. My pony tail is so small now. It used to look like a horsestail. Well, all I can say is I know how you feel. Thanks for the post because I was just about to post about my hairloss today but now I don't have too. Hope yours stops soon too. Maggie 309/216/135
