Can I get them done at 12 months or wait for 18 months. When can I get my breast agrumantation and implants in. I am 9 mths out. I have a appt on oct 2 to see a surgeon. I got a price from his office for the lift and the inplant $8300.00 am I getting ripped off. Thank you Barb

I've heard of people getting plastics at 9 months, but they say you should wait 18 months when the BULK of your loss has come to a grind.... YES they say we can still loose for another 9 months... WOW! Lift with implants can run from around 5k-10k depending on where you live and who the surgeon is... just remember you get what you pay for.. look into this doctor and all your options before you "dive" in.... If all goes well with my insurance company, I should be having a breast reduction and tummy tuck at the end of August (legitimate medical reasons). I realize I might lose some more weight, but at this point I am only 28 lbs overweight (I actually have surpassed my surgeon's goal for me) and it really shouldn't be enough to affect any reconstructive surgery I have *crosses fingers*

I begged whined and bargened with my surgon and he said no if's and's or but's his patience don't even get to talk plastics till 18 months out He said even if a person IS at goal there is still so much changing we don't see it just doesn't make sence to do it before then. I think I would shop around for prices that seems WAY high to me. Shel
