HELP.. Water Retention

1. It is not my TOM that was 2 weeks ago. 2. I am NOT pregnant I asked my WLS nurse yesterday when he called about my upcoming appt. and he had no idea... obviously not WLS related I guess. I tried water pills for 2 days and it helped some, but I'm not sure I should be using them.... Today I'm puffed up again.... ANYONE have any ideas? Help? Suggestions? Anything...... Thanks! Erin

I tend to retain water when it gets hot and humid (no problems in Upstate NY with that lately).... Micha

I have a bad problem of retaining water,,and its usually a sign that I am not drinking enough of it! So, my body holds onto every drop it does get. I hate to admit it, bu****er is the hardest thing forme after WLS. Water pills usually have to be in your system for a few days before they start to work. Also, green vegetables help,,like asparagus and spinach. Cut out the caffeine too,,and concentrate on flavored water or decaf tea....and drink drink drink!!! Thats what works for me !!
