How did everyone do yesterday?
Just wondering how everyone made out yesterday.
I only had a burger on a whole wheat bun but I felt it was too much.
I stayed away from all the carbs. (potato salad, cole slaw) but I did have a small hot dog without a bun, also.
at the end of the day I felt I ate too much. and when I told my husband he told me I didn't. I didn't have junk. and the burger was small.
I hope he's right.

I did terrible! To much snacking. The only saving grace was I put in about 7 hours of work as well. The two glasses of wine and 2 appletini's are what put me up over the edge. We do have live(not trying to justify). I did log everything into my Fitday report. No sense in cheating myself. I know that there will be days like this, but that is what makes them so special. I am a little worried about the week long cruise in Sept on the QM2. I will have to disconnect the phone in the room so that room service isn't available. haha. Overall had a fun day and I am back on the wagon. Hope others faired better than me.
I was telling my husband how it would be nice to take a cruise too. But you're right about cruises.
I've never been on one but from what I hear it's just one big eating feast. So I don't know if I could do that. You'll have to let us know how you do.
But yes, today back on the wagon. And it is a wagon to freedom.

well first of all I went to my mother inlaws.....and she made pigs in the blanket...which i cant eat because of the rice....mashpotatoes and corn...and strawberry shortcake...also they had only soda to drink....so I didn't eat anything there because i know they did it to be mean.... So we went to my brothers and I had a turkey burger w/out a bun... and some baked beans and potatoe salad....just small portions... later i had a few chips... and also water.... I swear my motherinlaw hates me.....
I did pretty good, actually! We BBQ'd hamburgers, and I ate half of one patty (they were pretty big), no buns, with a slice of American cheese, pickles, red onion, and ketchup and mustard on top. I also ate a few chips, but I was really enjoying the burger and saved most of my appetite for that
I did enjoy a small iced caramel macchiato from Starbucks yesterday
I spent much of my day shopping and watching a CSI marathon, so I ended up skipping dinner. Didn't get in as much protein as I would have liked (48g instead of my usual 90-95), so I'm starting today with a protein bar (31g).
Other than that, it was a good day. Didn't actually BUY anything, because I wasn't ready to spend $50-100 per item on clothes that I can't wear more than a few months. But I did discover I have gone down another size (now in some 14's). The gym was closed so I couldn't work out. And even though I got drafted to work the holiday, I got sent home early because we were so slow, so I got to enjoy the sunshine.
Thanks for asking this, it's as if I want to vent my frustration or something....
Yesterday: I had pizza for the first time since surgery. I had sworn off this food as it's one of my "trigger" foods... I can not eat enough of it. I only had one actual slize and the topping off of another. This morning I had a slice for breakfast and guess what? I plan on throwing the other half of the pizza away. I would rather waste my money than eat bad foods.
Sunday I hate everything that was not nailed down. I don't know what to say.... it was TOO easy.
So, today I am back on track. Going to the gym after work and trying to do a carb clense if you will.
The highlight was holding up a pair of 24W jeans that I had given to my friend as I started losing and being able to fit into only one side of them!!!! GREAT FEELING but not enough to keep the chips out of my mouth :o(
