Depression pilll seems to work !!!!!

I have been on it 3 weeks now. the first 2 weeks was pretty rough getting use to the pill nausa and light headness. and just sick.My doctor said to stick it out it gets better and it did. . The past 2 days I have felt like a new person. The only problem is I have no appetite and this pill does cause weight loss. I am losing my weight quite quick now with only 15 pounds to go. I am on cymbalta started with 30 mg now I am on 60 mg. I just dont feel nerves like I felt on Lexapro. I hope this feeling last forever. I feel wondereful. Take Care Barb

Hey Barb, I'm glad that you stuck it out and found that it's working for you now. I had to mess with my Lexapro because I hate to go on anything that would make me gain weight. I'll have to ask my psych doc and my surgeon about the Cymbalta. It's timed released and my surgeon told me no timed released meds ever again. Be happy! paula

Paula, I am on Effexor XR, and it is extended release...My surgeon hasn't said anything about it to me, but I will ask him when I see him on the 23rd. ~~em

Is this supose to have the same weightloss effect? I was also on lexapro and basically crashed I couldn't take it any longer now I feel much better with the Effexor. How much are you taking? Jenny
