Ida, Welcome to the losing side. Hang in there it will get better and better. S/F popsicles, decaf herbal tea, flavored water and I like the walmart wannabe crystal lite better than the actual - the fruit punch and peach tea are my faves. My protein of choice is Matrix 5.0 chocolate - I get it from bariatriceating.com - everybody has different tastes you will just have to keep looking and trying until you find something you like. Keep up the good work - hugs -dea

I can't believe it, on 9/21/04 I weighed 288.5 pounds and now I am down to 188.5. I can't remember the last time I weighed this little maybe high school. I am feeling good and from the compliments from everyone including my surgeon, looking good. It hasn't been easy to reach here and I do have 18.5 more pounds to go for my personal goal, and lately life has become more hectic with my mom having had a stroke, but I have great support. And should I feel the slight urge to "stress eat", I have every high protein, low-fat, low caloric snack possible in my home. Anyway I am very proud of my accomplishment and I am determined to make my 170 pound goal 288.5/188.5/170

Thanks to everyone that has replied to my post. Just hearing from others has helped my stress about the pain. I am having a CT scan on Tuesday so will hopefully know something next week. Thanks again to my 9/2004 buddies. Joy 296/167/?

I know what you mean, I only have too and I still have trouble....But we've got to learn to find that 30-45 mins of me time. Let's commit here, now and today to getting in that ME time. Let's teach our children and ourselves to make time for us. We CAN do this. Thanks so much for your support. Agape: Andrea J

Thank you so much. This looks like a great way to implement an excercise program for myself. Let's do it together. Agape: Andrea J

I am having the same problem as you are. I have been on a plateau for 6 weeks. I have lost only 80 pounds. The weight just won't move. I feel confident that it will move soon. I try not to stress over it. I started out at 268. Now I am at 188.
