Cherilyn,
I am at the same spot as you in my weight loss. I believe one of my problems may be I don't eat breakfast. It is usually 10:00 before I eat and I get up at 6. I thought about starting to have a protien shake first thing. Maybe get the coffee flavored ones so I can have that instead of my cup of coffee. I also think I need to start weight training because I am sure I have lost a lot of muscle mass. I can tell I am not as strong as I used to be. Check out bariatricbytes.com thats tooters site she has tons of recipes and also what about egg beaters in place of reg. eggs? there is also low sugar oatmeal and you can add protein to it. Oatmeal is great for the cholesterol. You could use a low carb tortilla or half a carbdown flat out (very flavorful) they are full of fiber and protein with the egg beaters, cheese some ham or veggies, salsa.... and make yourself a breakfast burrito. Or maybe jsut crab a handfull of almonds if you don't like to eat breakfast food or cook. These are just some suggestions i hope they help. Good luck and have a great day. Tina

Cherilyn, my breakfast on most days consist of a Slimfast low carb drink. It has lots of vitamins and 20 grams of protein. Then I usually have a light lunch and a snack and dinner is my largest meal and of course a snack in the evening. Janice

Cherilyn,
Hey hon - you are doing good - everyone is different and loses differently. I have a protein shake for breakfast just about every morn. But I got this idea from the BAMA board - Rice cake with peanut butter smeared on it(apple/cinnamom or plain) or the cheddar rice cakes to make thin deli ham and or turkey sandwich. I cannot tolerate bread unless it's toasted so the crunchy rice cakes should work good for me.
What about those quiches things? You can get the mini ones @ Costco or Sams and no more than we could eat they should not be so bad for us.
Best of luck!

Topic: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Hello All,
I was wondering if you all could help me out. I am 87 lbs down and my 1 year anniversary is fast approaching. I know we are all diff't ppl ...and had diff't surgeons. But I am trying to compare/base my success from you all...and my own body...and would like to be at 100lbs down or very close to it next month on Sept 20th.
So here is the thing. Bread is my enemy.
So I want to re-vamp my daily routine. I joined weigh****chers..and did good. But have been travelling this summer and missed meetings and didn't go back. Today I want to read South Beach etc...to see if they have any breakfast ideas in there. I'm not much of a cook...well I'm not a cook at all but am thinking chicken and salad or fish and salad for lunch and dinner.
But I have noooooo clue what to have for breakfast. My last visit to my MD she said everything was fabulous except my cholestrol (the bad one) was a bit high. So if anyone has a good plan on what to eat for breakfast that does not involve: eggs, bacon, saugage or whatever I would truly appreciate it.
Or just basically what do you all eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and how much water. ...so basically I want to know everything if you all don't mind. I truly truly do appreciate it.
