Wow, what a great weight loss. LOL about the being in water. It is funny cause I find I don't float as well as I did prior to loosing the weight. I bet it is great being able to get on any ride with your kids. Not sweating is the greatest though. I would be so soaked from sweating I looked like I just got out of the shower. Now if I sweat at all no one even notices. Best of luck to you in the future. Keep up the great work. Shannon

As of this morning I am now 1 pound away from my goal. I never imagined in my wildest dreams being 100 and anything so to be at 171 just amazes me. Shannon P.S. Checking your pictures now....

Hey Yall, Well, we are all almost one year out, OMG time has flown by!! I had hoped I would be at goal by now, sadly Im not..yet! I started at 238 and today I am 152. I feel great, Im not complaining at all. I went from a size 20 to an 8 and M tops. I am happy and most importantly happy. My 1 year is 9/23 and there is still a small chance I will make it to my goal of 135 by then but its not likely, my loss has pretty much slowed down despite exercise and good diet. Im gonna bust my hump and try and make it by my 1 year but I wont be devistated if I dont make it, ill get there in the next 6 months I know. Anyways, just wondering, how many of you are at goal? If your not, when do you hope to be there by?? With love, Em PS I have pics posted on my profile, you can see my progress!

Hey everyone. I had my surgery on 9/22/04 and I weighed 335 when I had it. I was as high as 340 at one time. I now weigh 183. Thats 152 lbs loss from the 335 and 157 from the 340 I weighed at one point. I have had ZERO complications and I am off my bllod pressure medicine and off of tricor. I am taking only a little bit of insulin now, and my sugar is always normal when I check it. Life is so much better. I can out walk my kids at six flags and the mall and I barely sweat anymore. The heat doesn't bother me at all anymore. I can actually fit into any ride I want to ride at six flags. Well I have to admit I have to make an effort to tread water now when I in the pool. I use to float and didnt even have to move my arms and legs to stay afloat. I dont know if thats because I now have less fat and maybe fat floats or because I have less surface area to make me float. Either way, I could care less, I am so happy to be small. And, most people who havent seen me do not even recognize me. That is AWESOME. This is the best thing I have ever done for my self. When I have the skin removed I will be where I want to be, right at 168-170. Thanks for the prayers and support. Greg Johnson

You are exactly where I am at. I liked to drink but now I think god is telling me not to because I black out almost everytime I do it. I mean black out and I am unconcious. What I dotn get is my weird urge to drink now since I never was a drinker before but someone once told me that even one ounce of liquor will slow down your metabolism for 2 weeks so maybe that is what stops your loss. Anyway I am in the same boat as you and glad that I have other people sharing my fight with the cravings and everything. At least I am normal in that respect!!! In any case I will know you will get back on track it already sounds like you are so good luck Love Amybee

OH BOY................I AM RIGHT WITH YOU!! Got down to 175 a few weeks ago even...........and am now looking at 182, down from 184......AND I AM ANGRY WITH MYSELF. Yes, chocolate, yes to the salt/vinegar potato chips...........and ginger snaps.........between 7pm and midnight are my worst times........ I just can't seem to stop going downstairs for something to eat. I stand at the top of the stairs and ARGUE WITH MYSELF...........talk about INSANITY...........and most of the time I still go down. You have lost a TON.....I mean, really.....150lbs??? That is a whole person! I have only lost half of that............... Your picture is AWESOME! I'll hold your hand if you'll hold mine. We cannot allow ourselves to do this..........there has to be a way.... Wesie 256/182
