Count me in too! I am in the exact same boat as Emily and even though I am at my Dr.'s goal I am 10-15 lbs away from my goal of 140. I need to cut out the cheating in the afternoon and if this will help me do it--I am all for it! Hugs Marianne

Topic: Here We Go! Protein Push Starts Tomorrow~!!
For all of you who wrote me saying you're in..."YOU'RE IN!" LOL Here's the deal: There are no requirements other than the ones we are all familiar with, namely: PROTEIN, WATER, VITAMINS, PROTEIN, WATER - a little carb - PROTEIN, WATER, VITAMINS, PROTEIN, WATER -a little snack- WATER, PROTEIN, WATER Don't forget to exercise, even if it's to walk for 15-3 minutes a day!! Ignore the scale! Got it? Good! Now there's been some really good suggestions, like making sure you guard against the dreaded "Stool Monster" and spread this out over three to five meals. I'm not giving any advice, because after a year, we've heard it all, right? This is just a means to get us to finish line - regardless of when you started. Let's see if we can do this for Six Days, starting tomorrow. That means Monday morning we get on the scale and see what happens. Why over the weekend? Simple. The weekend is the hard part, and if we're trying to get back on track and do it right, then let's deal with the areas that get in trouble. We'll see other through the weekend. Post as much as you want. We'll all come on and encourage each other (I mean it. We'll come and look for each other). Start your posts with "Protein Pusher" so we'll know who you are. We've got a lot to celebrate. This is just the sprint to the finish line! Grace

Hi Emily Congratulations on your weightloss and your upcoming anniversary. I am @ goal of 175, but I flip flop between 175 and 177. After coming from 275, 2 lbs doesn't bother me much. I feel great, I'm in a size 10 and L or M tops. I feel great and I can't believe it will be 1 yr tomorrow!! ~Jae 275/175

Hi Grace, I need to jump start myself too! I am with you for Wednesday a.m.! I just bought a new blender to help with the protien shakes.... I am still about 35 to 40 pounds from what the "charts" say I should be but my personal goal is about 25-30 pounds away.... I don't feel like I will ever get there, but I need to give it a really good shot or I will feel like I failed myself. So, protien, protien and more protien! Karen

Grace - I am right there with ya girl! See my post from 8/31/05 entitled "Am I Crazy?" LOL! I have been doing basically liquid protein during the day and one small, light meal at dinner just to be sociable with my family! Last week I dropped 5 pounds and felt very satisfied after the first few days. I backslid a little this weekend but am back on it today. Lots of protein drinks and liquids. I have 8 pounds to go to goal, my re-birthday is also 9/20! Good luck! You have done super! XO, Sandy (268/144/136)
