That is about the pace I lost at too... I think I lost 20 lb the first month and then 10 the second.... anyway, I am out 11 1/2 months and am down 95 lbs. (not the fastest but still "slow and steady".) Hang in there, Karen

Hi Grace It's official! THE SCALE HAS FINALLY BEGUN TO MOVE AGAIN! According to the scale this morning I am happy to report that I am now -5 lbs. Wahoooooooo! Now if I can just do another 10 lbs. I will have reached MY goal. Now that I know I CAN do it if I put my mind to it and use fit day everyday I will not have a problem (I hope). Anyway, congrats to you too on your success this week. I am looking forward to posting again next week, and hopefully it will be another 5 lbs. What day are we going to make our official weigh in day???? Hugs & Big Thank yous! Are you still losing? If you're still losing then I wouldn't be concerned. You can increase your water and protein intake(if your pouch will let you), and exercise is always a good thing. The posts you're reading here are of people who are close to a year out and are suffering from stalls (no weight loss at all for more than a month or two), and/or just plain ole backsliding. We're trying to get back on the weight loss track. You sound like you're still chugging along! You're doing great, hon! Just keep up the good work! Grace

Good For You!!! I just got off the scale, and I'm having a special breakfast to celebrate last week's victory! But I'm going another week on the daily food plan. It's a good habit, and I have been feeling so much better since doing it! I'm off the scale again! Just good habits! Grace

I have not lost 4lbs in one week since I had the surgery ! What am I doing wrong ? I have lost 32 lbs since 07/08/2005 thats about 2 lbs per week. . What is the average after surgery ?

I love having my strawberry and shredded wheat breakfast, sometimes I have it for lunch or dinner instead! I keep it down to small bowls(they're hugh), because it's easy to get carried away, and I'm not affected by the sweetness. It's very filling, too! Grace

Hi Tina, I just get waaay down to the basics. I have fallen off the wagon, but fortunately, when I see I've slipped, I can start all over again. Here's my day: Breakfast - Coffee, 30 minutes later, protein drink, vitamins, water lunch - Turkey, 2 slices of swiss cheese, spinach leaves, rolled up with a splattering of mustard; water. Snack - protein drink, vitamins, 30 minutes later, a crunch bar, water Dinner - Whateveer I'm feeling like, but making sure the skin is off, it's not cooked in butter, etc (no rice for me, though. Still makes me sick) Snack - crunch bar Bedtime - Protein drink, vitamins, crunch bar, water That's it! Grace
