Ya know I would love to have it removed but right now that isn't possible cause I can't afford it. One day I will but until then I will still be happy cause I am better then I ever was. Shannon

oh totally, i know i have like 5-10 pounds in loose skin. do you think you will be able to have yours removed? I am thinking no right now for me b/c my insurance totally won't pay for it. -Katie

oh yeah i had a lot of pics that i sent in. that i took myself that Superman took that the surgeon took.... i had started gettin rashes before i even had wls.... my csection scar was always breakin open bc it was in the fold of the panni...

We were talking about the extra skin, how I look etc.. She said something that got me thinking. I was looking at those horrible BMI charts and by what I weigh now I still need to lose like 9 pounds to be considered "normal" weight. So then she told me I look so skinny, sometimes anorexic (no freaking way)..... So then she was like, "How much do you think that skin that's left weigh's"? So it got me thinking. I figure probably 20-25 pounds. Who know's maybe more. Then she said, "Well if that is true then technically you really weigh 20-25 pounds less. So that means I am actually 144-149 depending on if it is 20-25 pounds. So technically, if I got the skin removed i'd be under weight. LOL, that actually made me feel good. So even though I look at the weight on the scale I realize that if I didn't have the skin I would weigh a lot less. I am not sure if it helps anyone here, but it makes me feel better. Shannon
