Thanks so much Tina! I'm feeling so much better. Got the staples and PICC line out yesterday, and those things alone have made it all so much better! Blessings- Tonya

You are right! Babies are blessings. It's all a part of God's plan. I will definitely lift them up in prayer. Congrats by the way! -Katie

Sorry to hear the timing isn't right but baby's are gifts and your going to enjoy him/her. My sister just gave birth to her first baby girl on Sunday. Her timing took 14 years so this baby took her time however I have a 17 year old niece who just got pregnant on purpose and the timing isn't right, neither is the fact that she is extremely immature. However I keep telling myself that things happen for a reason and if nothing else I will have a new great niece of nephew to love. Shannon

Hey Friends, It is with mixed emotions that I share with you ...... I'm gonna be a Grandmomma! Please continue to lift the parents to be up in your prayers - Wayne & Kara - they are so young - our babies having babies - WOW. Timing is not wonderful....choices that were made I don't agree with BUT....Babies are a Gift of God and no child is a mistake. I can hardly wait to hold this precious darling in my arms and cover it with hugs and kisses. I love you all! - hugs - GrannyDea(OH NO!!! - I wanna be called Nana or Nonnie!) Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each and every step of the way.

Marianne, This is a bitter/sweet moment. I also dump on sugar but it has to be a certain amount. One extra bite and I'm in trouble big time. It is now the sixth so I'm sure you feel better now. When I feel the need for sweets I get the little fun size like you give out for halloween and just have one. Even though dumping is awful its good to know you did it right? Tina

I purposly ate too many M & M's because lately I have not been getting ANY symptoms to scare me....and now I feel like I could die. Right now I am sitting here shaking, sweating, feeling like I am drunk/lightheaded, heart pounding, stomach pains along with a green BM. I am hoping that I did indeed dump because then I know that YES I DO DUMP ON SUGAR! This just may be the incentive I need to keep me away from cheating and giving into my cravings. Right now the only thing I am craving is ice water. It began with stomach pains along with constant yawning and a need to go to bed. Then when I had to get up I thought if I took a shower I would feel better but instead the hot shower raised my body temperature. Thanks for your help on this one. I am awaiting the results. Hugs Marianne

Hi Dea, Thanks for your post. I am doing just what you suggested, in fact, logging on to the internet is the hardest thing I've done today. I am taking it really easy, and not trying to go this one without pain medication. I appreciate your reply! Tonya 368/201/?

Topic: RE: New Relationship ... Telling my Boyfriend I had WLS
Honesty is always the best policy. If he does leave, then he wasn't the guy for you. How long do you think it will be before you meet someone and they tell him? This is a BIG part of your life and you definitely need to share it with him. Tell him you didn't tell him at first because you were not sure what he would think. Now you feel need to tell him to be totally honest with him. If he is as great as you say, he will understand. In addition, if you spend quite abit of time with him, he should know that you've had the surgery in case you have a complication of some kind and he has to tell the doctors about your medical needs. For instance, the no blind intubation thing is important. If you had to be intubated because you couldn't breathe, then you probably couldn't talk either. So, he'd have to tell them. TP
