It has been several monthes since I posted. I don't know why, except I have been really busy. I was at Sandy Pines most of the summer and didn't have a computer there. I had WLS 9/28/05 and it has been a great ride! I have lost over a hundred pounds and it has been great. I recently started a part time business (www.hallho****er.com) and bought some rental property in the Kalamazoo Public School District where I work my day job and where you can get free tuition for college for your children (yes you read that right). So if you need a water heater in SW Michigan or want to locate to a distrct that will pay your kids college tuition - I'm the man! Sorry about the advertising, but life is damn good!

Topic: RE: Any solution to a sensitive issuse?
Maybe you have developed a lactose intolerance, OR a sensitivity to sugar alcohols. I would keep a food journal for a week, then see which foods caused the most problems, and try to avoid them. If I have sorbitol, maltitol,(SF syrup or prepackaged desserts) or onions I have to be alone for a few hours =). Splenda doesn't bother me, so I try to get stuff with that in it. Seriously, for about two months post-op I had the worst gas after eating dairy...and on the soft-foods diet, that was the majority of what I ate! I've found that eating yogurt everyday, first thing in the morning helped eliminate that problem, and I can now eat cheese and drink milk without offending anyone. Still can't eat onions without beano; Oh well. LOL Donika

Nice to see your popping by. Things here are pretty great. My niece just gave me 3 pairs of her size 5 jeans. Not a size that would ever think I could fit a toe into let alone my whole body. I hope all is well with you. Shannon
