Topic: Well its been 17 mo for us
I have lost 130 lbs now and I wear a size 8-10 I feel great. I to have been stable between 138-144 so I try to watch what I eat. I do find my self slipping back bot I get out my fat picture to remind me of what I could look like again and I don't ever want to go back. I weigh my self everyday to watch what I am doing. I to am going to keep a journal of what I eat. I really don't want to loose much more but do not want to gain either. I was scheduled to have my tummy tuck done the 31 of Jan. but had to reschedule it as I got pneumonia and ended up in ther hospital. I am better now. Well take care and good luck to all of us. Its a hard battle but we can win this one

Dollie,
My weight loss has really slowed down also. I lose only 1 lb each month now. But I am not giving up. I drink 2 protein shakes a day and am going to try to drink 3 a day. The shakes really help me. I want to lose 10 more lbs and then I will be happy. My husband thinks that I am too thin now.

hey! i am going through the same things here. I am doing like delores and getting back to basics. I am doing a protein shake for bfast and then healthy meals throughout the day. as most of you can by now, I can hold a little more food than before, so i am just adding salads to my protein of choice. it seems to be working as i have lost 3 of 12 pounds i put on over christmas. also, exercise and more h2o. never had a problem with my meds. i am using fitday.com to track my cals and would love if you wanted to be wls-support buddies.
the worst triggers for me are night time snacks..i love a banana with a little peanut butter etc, but that adds up over time..
anyhoo--good luck to you!!
we can do it with the lord's help! he got us this far!!

SW
I believe you have the correct idea but I'm trying to be a little more livable with the guild lines.Water, exercise, no liquiods with meals ,protein first. Good choices of snacks. If I do not gain that's my goal at this time.I sometimes think you can sit your self up for failure if you make to many rules unless it's become a gaining weight episode then yes save you life with diaries etc. Hugs and best wishes to you. Please keep us posted as we need each other. Dolores
Topic: RE: Hello please help is it to late
Hey, It is never too late! I agree with the liquid diet for a week. Also, don't forget to water load. I had my surgery at Georgetown also. Dr. Oldham did mine. I really think that the fluids help. Positive thinking is a big secret. Hang in there and always remember you are not alone. God bless
