I don't feel that. I feel I still have flabby abs though I work them out all the time. But then I pull out my scrapbook and I see those BEFORE pictures and know for sure there is a change!

food this week would be sugar free jello-new flavor-cheesecake! add some cherry yogurt on top and top with sf whip cream!(I also crumble a sugar free cookie on the bottom! Mmnn
aqua arobics 6 times a wee****asier to stick to when you start to look good in a suit(even if it does have a skirt hehe! Thank god they are in style this year!!!!!)
Concerns-my jiggling thighs
WOW!- An 11 year old boy looking at my pictures and telling his mom ,"That was her before and now look she is perfect!

I take 5000 mg of Biotin once per day and have for the last 3 months. Like you, I had very thick hair to start, so the thinnning is not so noticable, thank goodness.

Weight loss this week: -3.2 lbs, I'm @ 195.
Weight loss so far: down 80 lbs total
Favorite helpful food this weekend was Atkins nacho cheese flavored chips. I had the munchies big time and they were great!!
Excersize goals, Doing Slim in 6 everyday this week.
Concerns: I'm in the waiting phase of approval for LBL & BR. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies!!
Wow Moments: an old neighbor came to visit this weekend and mistook me for my mom (a very svelte and sexy 46 yr old vixen). It was great!!

Hi all,
Lets see weight loss this week is 2lbs.
Overall weight loss is 80.5lbs since surgery and 101lbs from highest weight.
Favorite foodfind would be Trek Mix from trader joes. Almonds Dried cherries pineapple and cashews. Great for when you need to feel a cruch.
Exercise goal for this week: I worked out 5 days last week and am planing on the same for this week.
Concerns: Getting rid of all the fat on my legs so I can wear shorts this summer.
Wow moments, I bought some size 16 jeans and I am almost ready for a size 14. How I can tell about the weight loss now and I love it when the girls at work say Hi Skinny.

So funny, Tina! I totally agree! I feel thin and sexy and then I'll see a pic and think I look FAT, except for my skinny face and neck! Somewhat discouraging. I look like a little pinhead, LOL! Hugs, Sandy
Topic: Biotin - Amount I Am Taking
I've been trying to catch up on the posts that I missed and I remember one about Biotin and hair loss. My surgeon recommended that I take two 1500mg tablets a day. My hair has definitely thinned but fortunately I had alot to begin with. If you didn't know me before surgery you wouldn't notice hair loss or thinning. The two tablets might seem like alot but don't forget there is malabsorption.
Also thanks to the person who advised me not to take my vitamins WITH my calcium! I asked me surgeon and he told me the same thing, so now I spread them out. Have a great day! Hugs, Sandy

Hi Sue and everyone else! My daughter and I are back from "Camp Grandma," a week visiting my mom in West Palm Beach. Great weather and so much fun but I missed you all, I feel like you all have become friends! And I MUST figure out how to post my pic, maybe tonight hubby will help!
Here goes: weight loss this week: 1 1/2 pounds (not bad for a vacation week!) overall: 97 pounds. Favorite foods this week: South Beach Protein Bars (formerly called Carbwell) by Kraft. Already knew I loved the peanut butter flavor and finally got to try the cinnamon raisin, SO GOOD! 140 cal., 10g of protein and 9 net carbs. I'm not supposed to exceed 30 carbs a day and these 9 are so worth it! Another fave is Laughing Cow Lite cheese in the little wedges (3/4 oz.), love the creamy french onion and only 35 calories. Exercise goals: to keep up with my 5-6 times a week at the gym. It's becoming habit and I'm actually starting to look forward to it! Also, I'm starting tennis lessons with a girlfriend this Thursday, very excited about that! Concerns: I have around 35 pounds more to go to reach my first goal of 136 (top of the normal range for BMI) and the weight loss has really slowed down, a little frustrating. Also the hanging skin thing has got me pretty freaked out. I need a new outfit for a wedding in 2 weeks and tried on clothes in the Lord and Taylor dressing room yesterday in a 3-way mirror and really saw my back for the first time. Oh my god, I almost cried. The skin hanging over my panty waist looked like 2 extra boobs. WOW moment: my mother almost walking past me in the airport and getting tears in her eyes when she saw me!
