I HAVE A PS DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY ALL !!!!! i have a date for a body lift .... from tricare. the date is october 12th!!!!! i just got a call... it went thru this morning. i am soo exstatic... and this thursday i am havin lasix eye surgery too... i guess me talkin to god everynight has paid off. this is sooo great... i was approved in less then 4 days. doin the happy manda -155 lbs 5'8/348/193/???

Hey Manda, At the risk of sounding STUPID.. (I'll take a chance, lol) Is your insurance going to cover any/all of the procedure?? I have lots of skin issues myself. I will tackle that bridge when I come to it! CONGRATULATIONS Pam 278/180/164 CLOSE, But yet, so far!!

Oh, I am sooo happy for you! Lol, we have quite a bit in common, both have tricare, I want a body lift ( what all is included in that) and I'm also considering Lasix. Congrats again, I'll be keeping an eye on your posts to see how everything goes! Ashes 5'6/291/148/

Hi Manda I have the "exact" same question as Pam. If your insurance is covering the PS did you have to have documentation of the necessity for the plastics? I was told not to even consider the surgery until we are out 18 months. I would love to have a TT. Please share this accomplishment with all of us who are hoping to have PS. Thanks Marianne

oh yeah i had documents and mecial nessesity letters and i had my own pics plus what the surgeon sent in...everytime i had a raw area or rash or what not i had superman takin pics... You are true with the 18 months out thing... it just i dont want to lose anymore i am very happy at 193 and i am doin all that i can to maintain at this wt. I am a big boned gal and i am lookin a little unhealthy .... i have bones popin out all over and its just plain gross. My WLS doc never had a goal for me.. my goal for myself was 238lbs... and i passed that up 40 lbs ago. i just dont want to lose anymore.

Without sounding like I know, I almost remember you talking about how you sent pics of your skin, rashes something like that. But if I am wrong then I have no idea. Shannon

oh yeah i had a lot of pics that i sent in. that i took myself that Superman took that the surgeon took.... i had started gettin rashes before i even had wls.... my csection scar was always breakin open bc it was in the fold of the panni...
