READ If You Haven't Made It To Goal`
For whatever reason!! Sure, we all had high hopes of being like the others who lost more in 6 months than have the whole time since surgery. But hey, ask yourself these questions:
Can you walk further? Can climb the stairs with an oxygen tank? Even though you have fallen off the right foods, an d are prone to go crazy once in a while, are you still eating better than you were a year ago?
Yeah, that's what I thought. Me, too. I still have a martini here and there, but all in all, my body has been treated well, and I'm still losing inches. Heck, if I wore a girdle I know I'd be wearing a size sixteen right now!
Anyway, my surgery date was the 20th, and I'm still shy about 20 pounds. i don't expect to make it, but if you guys are willing, we can all go on a protein fest for the next week or ten days - kinda like the protein plateau buster.
We can all do it for the next week or so, and it'll either jump start some of us, or just get the rest of us on track for a new year of feeding the pouch.
Whaddya think? Email me and let me know and we can start Wednesday morning!

Grace -
I am right there with ya girl! See my post from 8/31/05 entitled "Am I Crazy?" LOL! I have been doing basically liquid protein during the day and one small, light meal at dinner just to be sociable with my family! Last week I dropped 5 pounds and felt very satisfied after the first few days. I backslid a little this weekend but am back on it today. Lots of protein drinks and liquids. I have 8 pounds to go to goal, my re-birthday is also 9/20! Good luck! You have done super! XO, Sandy

Hi Grace,
I need to jump start myself too! I am with you for Wednesday a.m.! I just bought a new blender to help with the protien shakes.... I am still about 35 to 40 pounds from what the "charts" say I should be but my personal goal is about 25-30 pounds away.... I don't feel like I will ever get there, but I need to give it a really good shot or I will feel like I failed myself.
So, protien, protien and more protien!
