Okay, whos at goal??
Hey Yall,
Well, we are all almost one year out, OMG time has flown by!! I had hoped I would be at goal by now, sadly Im not..yet! I started at 238 and today I am 152. I feel great, Im not complaining at all. I went from a size 20 to an 8 and M tops. I am happy and most importantly happy. My 1 year is 9/23 and there is still a small chance I will make it to my goal of 135 by then but its not likely, my loss has pretty much slowed down despite exercise and good diet. Im gonna bust my hump and try and make it by my 1 year but I wont be devistated if I dont make it, ill get there in the next 6 months I know. Anyways, just wondering, how many of you are at goal? If your not, when do you hope to be there by??
With love,
Em
PS I have pics posted on my profile, you can see my progress!
What matters most is that you feel great !!!!!!
I was lucky to make it to goal a 10 1/2 months out I started at 238lbs and am now 135lbs I am very happy with my results but would love to loose another 10 lbs. So hopefully by 18 months out I'll be at my goal 125 lbs. But like I said I'm happy being at my Drs goal !!!!!

Hi Emily-
I weighed in today and I am 3 lbs below goal. I couldn't beleive it. I list 4 lbs this week after several weeks of flopping back and forth between 126 and 127 - today I am at 122. I have been sick for the past 3 days so, this probably affected the scale. I know I will probably bounce back up a bit now that I am eating more normal as of today. Now if I could only get rid of the wrinkly skin - LOL. Have a great week. Keep up the great work - you'll get there.

Hi Emily
Congratulations on your weightloss and your upcoming anniversary. I am @ goal of 175, but I flip flop between 175 and 177. After coming from 275, 2 lbs doesn't bother me much. I feel great, I'm in a size 10 and L or M tops. I feel great and I can't believe it will be 1 yr tomorrow!!

275/175
It was my anniversary on the 8th also, and I've been at goal for a little while. The number is a bit high, but I've faithfully exercised since being 2 months out, so I have more muscle that weighs more and as a direct result from all the jumping around, my body is firmer today and in much better shape and I'm definitely at goal size!
I started out as a 20 and now I'm an easy 6 and wear some 4s and that's MORE than enough! People mistake me for being a naturally thin person all the time even though I've not had any plastics done, because I carried my weight on my hips, thighs and rear and so my tummy is totally flat today!
This has been the most amazing year and I give God all the glory!!

Hi Em!
My 1 year anniversary was September 2nd and unfortunately for myself I have not reached my goal weight BUT I did achieve the one major goal I set for myself and that was to be healthier. I am. I do not need any of my asthma medications any more, I can walk stairs and not be winded, I can run up the stairs and jump around and be like "this is a piece of cake"....I could not do that 1 year ago. I am very happy with the success that I have made it this far and I am healthy for that was the main reason for me anyways, to having this surgery.
I still have more issues to contend with but I am on my way. I may not be there by my 1st year but guaranteed it will be by my 2nd. (Hopefully sooner but I don't want to put too much pressure on myself...*giggle*)
WE all should be so happy. WE ALL have come such a long way in life. A major decision to have this surgery and to act upon it and change our lives for the better. No matter how big or how small.
I wish I could be at 132lbs but if I look at the big picture, I think I did OK considering. We can do this!!
Love,
Erin
