woohoo
11 months out and I'm down to 152!
I started out at 291 and my goal is 145.
Now that I've posted that I've also been wondering if anyone else has this... issue.
I'll be watching my calories really close for 2 weeks, and trying to stay around 1,000 a day and not lose very fast. Then I'll go out to my relatives for a visit for a week or 2, completely forget about calorie/carb counting and I'll lose like crazy.
Anyone else notice this?
Well I notice when I watch things strictly I don't lose like I do when I try and jsut eat and not think about it.
Congrats on being so close to your goal. I am now 2 pounds from my first original goal. I am fine with where I am but honestly would love to lose another 20. It is strange that having 20 pounds left to lose is so much harder to lose then having a lot of weight to lose. The last few are really the hardest to lose.

I notice tat same thing when I was on vacation last month and found taht I had lost 7 ;pounds, whereas in the oter 2 months where I counted everything and was working out daily , I only lost 3.5 pounds each month. Sometimes, when we eat a few more calories it jumpstarts our metabolism and we burn more calories. So its like cheating with benefits
