Before Pic fixed..
Now you can see before and after pics of Eric and I. We look like totally different people!
My hair is growing back. I'm even having some fun with colored hair gels.. I have purple, pink, and red. I color my hair on Fridays for work and on the weekends if we go out. It's fun. The purple looks the best. I put it on lightly so it's more of a tint - not globbed on. Eric thinks I should keep my hair short.. around an inch. I don't know... I will say, the short hair is cool cause it doesn't cover my ears and last week I had a second set of piercing put in. What can I say.. I'm living it up.
Oh.. and cloths. I'm loving the cloths. I purchased black knee boots from zappos.com. I had to get the plus size calf ones, but I've always had large calves and theighs, so it didn't phase me. I wore the knee boots with a black denium shirt that was above the knee. With the dark purple hair and a burnt-orange satin top... I looked rather cool. At least Eric, his parents, and I thought so.
So, has anyone else had fun with new styles? I seem to be going for the punk look without the multitude of piercings.
Wow. . I wish I had your liberating personality Christine! I would love to CUT LOOSE like that! I tend to be very tranditional and conservative. My wardrobe is mostly navy, kakhi, and bland colors.
I have been "living on the wild" side for me, though. I WORE A SLEEVELESS DRESS the other day! and that's wild, wild, wild for me!! WOOHOO!!!!
Oh, and I also have a bright green shirt with lots of colors on it! GO GIRL GO!! LOL
Christina,
I read your profile - I just love your outlook and attitude. I think your short hair looks GREAT on you - not many people could pull it off - but you most definately can.
My hair is longer than I can remember since high school - Mark likes it - I don't know - the verdict is still out - but it's so easy to just pull back in a pony tail when we go motorcycle riding.
I used to hate shopping but now - I really have to be careful not to go overboard - but it's so much fun.
Purple is my fav color - so I would love to see a pix of you with the purple tint and in those awesome boots.
- hugs - dea
God bless you!!! You've gone through so much and still have such a wonderful upbeat attitude. The pictures look GREAT, you guys rock and are an inspiration!! Yes, I have become a clothes horse!! I've given 3 bags away and yet recently did some closet cleaning - not wanting to get rid of some nice clothes but those nice clothes didn't fit. And when I go to the store I look at the shirts/pants and want to buy everything!! But I take it easy cause I know I will be changing sizes and don't want to waste my money getting "big" sizes (14 for now). My sis gave me alot of clothes so it looks like I've spent a ton of money on new outfits. I know the people at work think I must be spending a fortune on clothes and they don't know it's cheap and some hand-me downs, hehehe..i don't care what they think. I feel good with the new clothes...who would have ever thunk I'd wear an off the should top? I was always wearing t-shirts and baggy jeans, etc. So i'm living it up to - and beside wearing these nice smaller sizes keeps me working towards my goal!! So Christina, live it up. I too change my hair color alot (though just reds, blonde and auburn (no purples, etc) but you do what you want and have FUN!!! Congratulations to both of you. You deserve it!
