I am so excited, I have been waiting for almost two months to lose 2 lbs to be at the 100 lb loss. It finally came sometime within the last two weeks. One of my doctors had asked me how much more weight had I lost and I told him none that I know of. He told me oh yes, I can tell you have lost, so he had me get on the scales and the two pounds were gone. I was so excited that I never really heard another thing that he said to me. Since then, I have lost another pound so I have lost 101 pounds total. I still want to lose 20 more pounds, and I need to start the process for a tummy tuck, inner thighs (they are really bad), and breast augmentation, but I don't know if I have the energy to go through what I had to go through just to get approved for the WLS. Has anyone else started the reconstructive process? If so, please give me some insight on what I need to do, where to start, what I need to document. Any help or encouragement would be appeciated. Thanks Karen 259/158/130

Karen - Congratulations sweetie! Doesn't that Century Club membership feel GOOD?! You are almost there! I have 12 pounds to go to my unofficial goal. A weight of 136 will be normal on the BMI chart for my 5'2" height. After that I might like to lose another 10 or so but I will be on top of the world at 136. I have had my PS consultation. I also have a gigantic hernia. My problem has been coordinating the two doctors. Also, they all acted like insurance would kick in for the PS but now not too encouraging. The PS doc just submitted a letter for my circumferential abdomenoplasty but not for my breast reduction/lift. Haven't heard back yet. I'm finding I have to be agressive to get what I want. No one is looking out for me! No big surprise. Keep up the good work! XO, Sandy (268/148/136)
