Hey Yall, Im working at getting to goal by my one year anniversary. I was just wondering how many calories yall are eating these days. Are you guys still loosing? Today Ive eaten 823 calories so far, Im trying not to get over 1200 calories a day. Is that about what you guys are eating? With love, Em 238/153/135

Em, I dont count calories but i have heard ppl say their docs recommend anywhere from 800-1200 calories a day depending on the individual and the doctor. I jus****ch my carb intake, try to avoid things high in fat and sugar, and make sure i get my protien. I havent lost anything in 2 months. I am at 148 and my original goal was 145 so i am almost there. I really want to get to 135 but it doesn't look like thats going to happen. I just figure my body is comfortable where it is at and decided i've lost enough, lol. Good luck getting to your goal.

I never count calories or fat content. The only thing I try to keep low are carbs and sugars and check the protein for the highest amounts. That works for me.

Hi Em - Your picture is so adorable! I wish I could figure out how to post mine! My doctor recommends 70 grams of protein, 30 carbs and 800 calories a day til I reach my goal. And no bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, beans and fruit. I'm usually between 800 and 1000 calories and if I cheat it's with fruit! I dream about fresh juicy pineapple, delicious watermelon, crunchy sweet apples, HA HA! How crazy do I sound?! But, the last 6 weeks have been challenging, I've had cake, tacos, and other "forbidden" foods. I haven't gained any weight because I'm not eating much and when I cheat it might be a few bites, but my weight loss has slowed way down. This week I went back to protein shakes and 1 1/2 meals to get things under control. Listen to your body. It will decide where you should be and where you can maintain! Congrats on your success! Emily, I was just at a support group tonight and the answer was 800-1000. Terri

Hey Terri, Its so funny how different all of our docs and nuts are? I asked at support group too and the doc and nut said take your current body weight, multiply it by 10 and subtract 200-300 calories and thats how many cals you should be eating to loose. That is for an active female they said. Anyways thanks for the advice!! With love, Em
