Plastic surgery on arms

Anyone have any idea what it costs to have plastic surgery on the wings that used to be my arms? Is there ever any insurance that covers such a thing? I figure everything else will pretty well be covered by clothes but the arms are the pits. I could fly I think! Even my underarms where the hair grows has stretched and is now in the wrong place! Of course, I still want to lose another 100 lbs or so, so I have awhile to wait for surgery but I figure I can be saving toward it in the meantime. Has anyone had any success with any kind of exercise to firm up that portion of the anatomy?

I read on one site it costs like 3 grand. You could go to a teaching hospital and get more of a discount. One lady at a meeting I attended said that she knew a lady in California who was able to get her's covered by her insurance but I don't know of ay insurance company that will cover it. I mean maybe if you have severe rashes etc you might be able to have it covered but if yours is like mine and it is just something disgusting you don't want to look at like mine is then you may have to pay for it out of pocket. Good luck... Shannon

Teresa, Yes I also have arm problems and it would be my firstpick for plastic surgery. I do not think insurance will pay however at the Atlanta Conference one lady had had all her surgery paid for. She said do not give up and keep sending pictures and history of skin problems. If she can do it so can we.. Congratulation Dollie-girl
