Has anyone joined weigh****chers? I did again yesterday and am very excited about it. This is my third time. I know (well the ones I went to in the past) talked negatively about the surgery. But I feel I need to be there as I have to be held responsible for every morsel I put in my mouth etc. So I hope I reach goal with their assistance and support!

I haven't joined but I plan on it. I have in the past but this time will be different. I want to join so that I can help keep myself on a healthy eating path. I really don't think i am going ot discuss my weight loss surgery with the people there cause I don't want to hear people tell me I shouldn't be there or what ever. I am not going to lose weight I would be going to help keep it off properly. Good for you for joining. Shannon

I think there is NO shame in joining weigh****chers. It's just a way of maintenance. When my hubby and I have kids I will only try to gain what is necessary for the baby's health, but afterward if the weight isn't coming back off, I will definitely look in weigh****chers or something like that.. Although, it would seem that if we continue the rules of the 'tool' it should work right, but I'll jump off that bridge when I get there! Good luck ladies!! Keep us posted! -KT

If it works for your great. I would rather have a dietician that was well educated in the rules of the pouch and My specific needs post op. Remember you are different after the surgery. and the rules of the pouch are you main guilelines. Wishing you well . Exercise is a must and water loading is a must. Keep us posted and Best of luck Dolores

I rejoined but found that I wasn't able to follow the program because their requirements were too much for my stomach to deal and I wasn't able to get in all the food requirements. In the end I decided to get a group from work together and we weigh once a week and get together at lunch to support each other. I also find that reading the posts here keeps me motivated. Hope WW works for you. Good luck.
