who are you ???

Have you gone through the "Not know who you are faze"? I put on my profile a couple weeks ago I waved at myself because the person was staring.... I was looking in a mirror in the mall. Since that time I have taken full body shots that keep with me so I can look at them regularly. But I am still catching myself off guard. Granted I love the new me..... but how long will this faze last? Cheryl B

Wow, I cannot believe that. You have come sooo far. Honestly when I look in the mirror I don't recognize myself anymore either. I feel like my whole being has changed. I ran into someone from high school the other day and she didn't recognize me at all! It was awesome sharing the new me. Good Luck! -KT

Cheryl... First...congrats on the great results. Second...I'm right there with ya. A couple of weeks ago, while entering the health food store, I was a half a heartbeat away from jumping out of the way of a woman walking out the door...till I realized that it was ME! That was so weird and I have been having those moments more often lately. I don't think you could ever realize all of the things you need to deal with mentally after surgery until they happen. Had someone told me a story like this previous to surgery, I might have thought they were nuts! Oh well... Keep up the good work! Christine Lap RNY 9-10-04 117 pounds gone for the better!
