Amy- I agree with you- greatest thing I ever did for myself... My big slip up is exercising- start doing a little and then find it way to easy to stop- then I start again and then find myself stopping again. Wonder if anyone has gone to Curves? I am going Sat to learn all about it- have heard lots of good things about it from the over 50 site. I know me and I will need to go right after work- once I get home- thats it- I don't want to leave again..... Keep up the good work, Amy---- Victoria 350/232/180

I am doing a lot better than I was a few months ago. I had terrible back pain. I receive physical therapy and it has done wonders. I just had to remember my posture. My back muscles were weak from my weight loss. I am so gratefull for this surgery. I have lost a total of 101 lbs. I lost 18 lbs preop and 83 lbs after surgery. I hope to lose 28 more but if i don't I am still very gratefull. I started out in size 22/24 and now I am in 14's. Congradulations on your weight loss! Lisa 279/178/150

Hi AmyBee! You are doing great. I lost a total of 90 lbs and just have 30 more pounds to go before I am at my goal weight. I have definately slipped...pretty bad too. But I came back to this great group because I realized I cannot do this alone. I too, need to up the exercising. But a gym is out of the question. I can't afford it and I just don't have the time availability to go. I have a 2 yr old and a 6 year old. Sitters aren't easy to get either. But I do enjoy walking so once the weather cooperates here, I will put my daughter in the stroller and my son on his bike and we'll go walking. I enjoy walking. Its great exercise. But doing Ok. I am still having slips but I am doing better. I have lost too much now to screw it up by sabotaging myself. I agree with you too that this is the best thing I could ever have done for myself. My knees don't hurt anymore. I can actually RUN up a flight of stairs and not need my inhaler by the time I reach the top. I think my lungs are happy with me too...ROFL.... Good Luck and lets KEEP BEING LOSERS.... Love, Erin Open RNY 9/2/04 sw 241 lbs cw 151.5 lbs gw 123 lbs

Congratulations!! Well...i'm glad to hear im not alone when it comes to the slip ups...i've been doing that lately with the added stress that's been happening...but i'm still being careful and doing alot of cardio to de-stress - even though i feel that's not helping. keep up the good work!

Amybeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Welcome back! You are doing great!!! I agree with you that this is the best thing that I've ever done for my health as well. As for the slip ups... I think lots of us have them, at least now we can deal with it, unlike before surgery. Love, Sue
