*** Yesterday ***

Yesterday my daughters and I went shopping for the day at the Roosevelt Field Mall and guess what??? My girls and I all shipped in NY and Company for clothes, imagine, me shopping in the same store as my 19 and 22 year old daughters----> the FIRST TIME FOR ME !!! I purchased all my summer clothes with stylish fashion. I can't believe how easy it was for me this time. Tops, capri's, lacey camisoles I can't wait to wear them! I was like a kid in a toy store! I also bought MEDIUM sized leggins and capri's, and if I do say so myself I finally look SKINNY! My sister-in-law stopped over today and told me how skinny I look, up until now she really has not commented on my progress--it made me feel so good! Now I just have to get some shorts. As I write this I have taken a break from bagging up all my winter shirts to give to a girl at work. In the back of my mind as I bag everything up, I can't help but think is this smaller life style really for keeps??? I truly hope so! Hugs Marianne

Congratulations to you!! Whoohooo I know you are excited. Today I got a lot of compliments - even to say - you look good stay right there but we know that I never not really be satisfied staying obese so although it was nice to get the compliments I still have much work to do. You keep up the good work!!

Hey Marianne, YOU HOT MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I do believe the smaller you is for keeps. We are not naive about what this surgery can and can't do for us. By showing up and reading and sharing on this site we stay educated about our tool and what it takes to stay healthy and never get overweight again. Good for you Marianne!! I really love Ny & Company, I used to go int here all the time with my best friend even when it was called Lerner's and could never fit anything. Those days are gone!! I purchased my first pair of size 12 jeans from there!!! I cried, but I'm very emaotional these days...I love shopping now because I'm not limited to Lane Bryant, the Avenue or Ashley Stewart. Doesn't it feel great to be able to go in all of the stores and find something!! I'm very proud of you!! Keep up the good work!! YOU ROCK!! ~Jae 275/190/180

Marianne - Way to go girl! I can feel your joy and excitement just by reading your post, totally contagious! Doesn't it feel good to have the admiration of our kids??? I totally get that! My son (almost 19) is very sparing with his compliments so I value them more when I receive them because I know he is sincere. My daughter (8) already loves clothes and showers me with compliments and approval every day, but I never get tired of hearing it. You have worked hard to get where you are. Enjoy the journey, you don't sound like someone who will ever slip into your old habits. Toss those big clothes and keep buying the new ones, you've earned it!
