Just an update!
Well, I hit the 7 month mark on the 8th and all is well. I saw my surgeon too and he said that all my blook looks good, put me on the B12 shot, and asked me to take more Calcium. I have lost 77 pounds to date and feel good, but am often tired and dizzy. Doc says to chart the dizziness as he thinks it's a form of dumping. ..could be true b/c I ate some greasy food and then the dizzines**** about 20 minutes later. Also, tiredness could be because of low calories, but he still doesn't want me eating more that 1000 a day for the rest of my life. When the dust settles I am going to check that with a nutritionist. Doc wants me to drink water b/c he thinks I could possibly be passing small gall-stones that my pcp thinks are UTI infections. We'll see as time goes on. Loose skin is a b****, but I am going to give it time. It's mostly my legs and tummy that bother me, but believe me when I say I AM HAPPY with the RESULTS otherwise!! Most definitely!
Thanks for listening y'all. I'll try to get a new pic on here soon!!

Glad to hear of your good progress. I hope that you get to identify the reasons you are dizzy and tired. So, if he wants you to continue for the rest of your life, I'm just curious, did he say that your body will automatically adjust to the lower calorie intake and will regain strength so you're not tired?
Thanks,
Trudi
See he didn't, and that kind of worries me. 1000 cals seems ok right now b/c I am still losing, but like I said.. I am going to see a nutritionist at the one year mark and see exactly what i need to eat to maintain my whatever my weight is in 5 months at my one-year anniversary.
We'll see. How about you..how many cals does your dr. say you should be eating?

Katie,
I'm so glad your 7 month check went so great! I am having the diziness also, though my tiredness seems a bit better. Actually the diziness has improved also this last week. The 1000 calorie thing is really impressive to me. I wish I could stay under that number. I really would like to try harder to do that. At least for now. I am always higher than that by a few hundred! I think it's wise to give the skin thing some time. You are young and I have a feeling you are going to spring back really well as time goes on. I'm really happy for you doing so well and I'm excited to see your latest pictures. May you have continued health and success!
Love,
Sue
