Hi guys I hope you all had a great weekend. So how are you all doing? You know me... full of questions! Weight loss this week- Weight Loss overall- Favorite helpful food of the week- Exercise goals for the coming week- (make a commitment you can keep, no matter how small you start, it really does make a difference) Concerns? Wow moments!? My answers... Weight loss this week- 2lbs Weight loss overall- 75 lbs since surgery, 84 from highest weight. Favorite helpful food this week- Quaker Lower Sugar Apple Cinnamon oatmeal!!! I love this it is satisfying for hours. I make it with half water and half skim milk or carb countdown milk. Exercise goals for the week- Last week I worked out 5 days at the gym! I want to do that again this week. Usually, I'm more like 2-3 days. Plus I am upping my time and the resistance on the eliptical. So my goal for this week would be to work out 5 out of 7 days again and keep challenging myself. Concerns-My calories are pretty dang high I try to keep them lower but have a lot of difficulty with this. Also, I have been experiencing some dizziness lately and consiousness of my heart beating. I'm going to my surgeon for a check-up today, we'll see what he says. WOW moments! I have two! First, I checked my fasting blood sugar for the first time in a long time this morning, and I was 97! NORMAL! YAY! I used to be 279 fasting!!! and in the high 300's after eating. The other wow moment was when my skinny friend told me I was "tiny" and that I'm just a "peanut" I just loved the peanut comment!!!! Take care everyone! De-lurk and let us know how you're doing! ~Sue

Hi Sue and everyone else! My daughter and I are back from "Camp Grandma," a week visiting my mom in West Palm Beach. Great weather and so much fun but I missed you all, I feel like you all have become friends! And I MUST figure out how to post my pic, maybe tonight hubby will help! Here goes: weight loss this week: 1 1/2 pounds (not bad for a vacation week!) overall: 97 pounds. Favorite foods this week: South Beach Protein Bars (formerly called Carbwell) by Kraft. Already knew I loved the peanut butter flavor and finally got to try the cinnamon raisin, SO GOOD! 140 cal., 10g of protein and 9 net carbs. I'm not supposed to exceed 30 carbs a day and these 9 are so worth it! Another fave is Laughing Cow Lite cheese in the little wedges (3/4 oz.), love the creamy french onion and only 35 calories. Exercise goals: to keep up with my 5-6 times a week at the gym. It's becoming habit and I'm actually starting to look forward to it! Also, I'm starting tennis lessons with a girlfriend this Thursday, very excited about that! Concerns: I have around 35 pounds more to go to reach my first goal of 136 (top of the normal range for BMI) and the weight loss has really slowed down, a little frustrating. Also the hanging skin thing has got me pretty freaked out. I need a new outfit for a wedding in 2 weeks and tried on clothes in the Lord and Taylor dressing room yesterday in a 3-way mirror and really saw my back for the first time. Oh my god, I almost cried. The skin hanging over my panty waist looked like 2 extra boobs. WOW moment: my mother almost walking past me in the airport and getting tears in her eyes when she saw me! Hi all, Lets see weight loss this week is 2lbs. Overall weight loss is 80.5lbs since surgery and 101lbs from highest weight. Favorite foodfind would be Trek Mix from trader joes. Almonds Dried cherries pineapple and cashews. Great for when you need to feel a cruch. Exercise goal for this week: I worked out 5 days last week and am planing on the same for this week. Concerns: Getting rid of all the fat on my legs so I can wear shorts this summer. Wow moments, I bought some size 16 jeans and I am almost ready for a size 14. How I can tell about the weight loss now and I love it when the girls at work say Hi Skinny. Sonya

Hey Guys!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend!! Ok, Monday check in!! Weight loss this week: -3.2 lbs, I'm @ 195. Weight loss so far: down 80 lbs total Favorite helpful food this weekend was Atkins nacho cheese flavored chips. I had the munchies big time and they were great!! Excersize goals, Doing Slim in 6 everyday this week. Concerns: I'm in the waiting phase of approval for LBL & BR. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies!! Wow Moments: an old neighbor came to visit this weekend and mistook me for my mom (a very svelte and sexy 46 yr old vixen). It was great!! Good Job Ladies!!! We're doin great ~Jae 275/195/180

this week-3lbs since surgery-81lbs. since starting this whole process-128lbs. food this week would be sugar free jello-new flavor-cheesecake! add some cherry yogurt on top and top with sf whip cream!(I also crumble a sugar free cookie on the bottom! Mmnn aqua arobics 6 times a wee****asier to stick to when you start to look good in a suit(even if it does have a skirt hehe! Thank god they are in style this year!!!!!) Concerns-my jiggling thighs WOW!- An 11 year old boy looking at my pictures and telling his mom ,"That was her before and now look she is perfect! Have a great week everyone!

Weight loss this week- nadda, getting a little frustrated with that, oh well, this too shall pass, so they say... Weight Loss overall- 110 from surgery and around 130 from highest Favorite helpful food of the week- Honey Bunches of Oats, YUM Exercise goals for the coming week- to walk 5 out of 7 days Concerns? I guess that hasn't changed, I still can't get past the "I'm gonna be the one who messes this up for myself" Wow moments!? A week or so ago I saw a friend I hadn't seen since before surgery and she seriously had no idea who I was until I spoke. That felt SO good.
