Hi, Sue
you are doing great--i went to your profile and read your journey--I am praying for all of us who are going thru this--people think this is the easy way out, but i want them to know its definitly not easy. im down 72lbs. I think i should be down more, but i cant excercise like i want to. I have two herniated disc in my back and its hard to move. I start with my physical therapist tomorrow. You would think after 72lbs my bck would feel better than it does.
Thanks for the support Valerie You're right, this is not an easy way out. For me, it did turn the seemingly impossible into something achievable at least. But not without daily effort, focus and sacrifice! Your weight loss is wonderful! Hey, it's a pound and a half more than me and I had surgery before you and I do exercise! I'm sorry you have had to deal with back problems, that is so hard! Thank goodness you start therapy tomorrow, I hope that it can help you a lot! I know what you mean about thinking your back should be feeling better after losing so much. I've spoken to many people who've expressed the same thing. I think things do get better with time. We have been carrying this weight for many years and have lost so many pounds in only 6 months! It's going to take time to come back from a lot of that. Feel better and let us know how your physical therapy is going.

1 lb or 2 not sure..
gorton's grilled salmon/fish, chicken - anything grilled
still have a bit of trouble staying away from soda (diet soda) but I think i might have a solution...i'm diluting it with water - it's not the greatest taste but making it nasty may break the psychological hold it has over me. Also, I've noticed I've been getting the munchies (im 6 months out)
exercising i usually do an hr a day but have ad activites that has limited me a bit - but this week i'm back on track I try to exercise everyday whether I go to the gym or do it at home.
I wore a skirt at work and had to run down the hall to get the reception phone and i heard my thighs slapping again each other - i quickly slowed down!!! hehahehe - i hope no one else heard me! Also, we were photographed at a dinner show and when i saw myself in the pic i was sooo excited - i looked like everyone else/normal...this time I wasn't the FAT girl in the pic..that felt soo good!

6)something new you've noticed about yourself at your new weight...
Everyone says how skinny I am. Isn't it funny If I hadn't been 314 everyone would think I am fat.
I can relate to the "You are so skinny... stop losing weight". I just joined ONEderland this week and I am happy but there is no way someone can mistake me for skinny.
1) 330 / 305 / 199 / 140
2) lost in the past week - 3 pounds // lost in the past month - 11
3) favorite food - sticking mostly with cottage cheese although I really want avocados BAD!
4) problems - finding enough time to exercise properly and get enough sleep.
5) elliptical trainer for 25 minutes, dumbells for 15 minutes. My arms feel like jello when I am done but I am trying to battle the bat wings.
6) Something new I have noticed... my collarbones are nice but I can't seem to get rid of the batwings and the loose upper thighs. I wonder if I will ever get it toned enough. People are as obsessed with my progress as I am.
