I Broke IT!

Hi All, I'm back. Sorry I haven't written lately but you know when life happens it happens and there is nothing anyone can do about it. I just celebrated my 6 month NEW ME birthday yesterday and I went to see my surgeon and wanted to give you all an update. Here goes... Last Jan. I started pursuing my journey and weighed 334lbs. By the time of surgery on Sept. 9 I weighed 282lbs. and as of yesterday March 9. I weigh 199.2!!!!!!!!! WWWOOOOOOOOO HHHHHOOOOOOOO. OH HAPPY DAY!!!!! At the beginning of Dec. I weighed in at 234 and my MD said to just lose 30 pounds by March. I told him NO WAY! That would put me at 204 and I was bound and determined to be under 200 (even if it said 199.9) and I did it!!!! I haven't seen a 1 in front of my weight since high school!!!! That makes a grand total of 135 pounds!!!! Congrats to all of us. We are all doing a great job and you should be patting yourself on the back daily!(Especially since we can now reach our backs!) I will write more often. I am sooooooooo happy for you!! That is SUPER girl! You look fabulous too. I can hardly wait to see a 1 in front of my numbers, too! That will hopefully happen sometime this month. I have 8 lbs. to go!! Celebrating with you!!! Love, Pam

WTG you. You definently ought to be proud of yourself. I bet your doc. was pleasantly suprised to see your weight loss. Isn't it amazing to see such a difference in 6 month's. WTG on seeing that 1 in fron of your pounds. LOL about being able to reach our back's. The thing's I can see now are funny too, like my feet. To actually tie my shoes and have the bow in the middle is pretty cool. Thanks for the update and WTG on being 135 pounds down, you are doing amazingly. Shannon

Hi Shannon, Thanks. You know I felt odd at first about writting to brag and then I thought you know what?!?!? I deserve the bragging rights. I have worked hard and faithfully to get where I am. My doctor told me I look fantastic and asked if I felt as good as I looked and you know what? For the first time since I can't remember when I could say ABSOLUTELY! Not only could I say it but I got excited to answer the question! About the seeing your feet I agree. I thought it was nice to paint my toe nails.... BY MYSELF! and you know what?!?!?! itonly takes me 5-10 minutes now instead of an hour!!!LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Take Care and keep up th AWSOME job! God Bless, Sonja
