6 Months!! Praise God!!

Ok, I am here to celebrate! It is officially my 6 month mark. I have lost 72 pounds and I feel great. Today I am in Florida to house-hunt as my hubby and I are PCSing here to Eglin Air Force Base in July. I am in a size 14 pants and they are ROOMY!! I almost started crying in the dressing room. Also, today has been great b/c my husband told me today in six more months if it's ok with my doctor he wants us to start trying for a baby!! I am so excited! That's one of the reasons I had the surgery, so I could carry at a healthy weight. Anyhoo~I just wanted to share my joy!! Much Love To You All! -Kt 251/179/150

What great new's. We will be trying again for a baby too around then. That is actually one of my 3 main reason's for having this surgery also. Mine didn't have to ask me he has no choice. LOL Well he does but still he know's how much I want to have more kid's so as soon as my doctor gives us the go ahead we'll be TTC. My daughter took 5 years of heartache and trying to finally arrive so we are hoping the next one isn't as difficult. I was overweight the entire time so I am hoping I am one of those who because extra fertile after surgery. I am not sure if your go over to the pregnant after WLS board on obesityhelp but it is pretty helpful. I check in there daily to see how the ladies are doing. I am getting a lot of useful information that I can use now, during and after we concieve. Best Wishes Shannon

Katie, You have so much to be excited about and thankful for! I'm really happy for you and your husband. You will get to wear all that cute maternity clothes that the skinny girls wear when they're pregnant!!! Not that that's the most important thing, but hey, it's something to get excited about too!
