Hi all, I just have a question, last night my pouch felt like it was having spasms, it didn't hurt it just felt wierd. Has anyone had this happen? I have not been able to eat as much in the last week. I thought I was just going through a phase. But since that happened last night now I am wondering if there might be something going on. I am planning on calling my surgeon today to ask also. I have lost 72lbs now since surgery and 94lbs total since this time last year. Hugs Sonya

Hey Sonya I haven't experienced the spasms, but sometimes I am more "aware" of my pouch than at other times. It's good you are following up about it with your doctor. Great job with your weight loss so far! Let us know what the doc says. ~Sue

Sonya, I have had "spasms" a couple of times. One was when I was drinking something too sweet and the other I had just finished working up a sweat and drank some cold water. My doc said it may have been the beginning of dumping and if I had not stopped drinking right away, I probably would have gotten sick. I don't know if this is the case with you or not, but be aware of what your eating, drinking or doing when this happens. Also, it is not unusual that somedays or weeks, I feel I can eat more than others. It depends alot on what I'm eating, but sometimes, I think, it has no rhyme or reason. If you aren't able to get adequate nutrition, definitely call you doc. Hope this helps, Sherry
