6 month anniversary - I can't shop there anymore :)
I had the BEST day Saturday. I have a gift card to Avenue, which if you don't know them - they sell sizes 14 - 32. I have been putting off going until I was size 14 so I could get something that might last. I was getting something to wear in my six month Glamour Shots picture and got a size 16 jean skirt and a size 18 top and found that they were huge on me. I was so happy. So my friend went to get me size 14 in both and I tried them on and they were still too big... not falling off, but dumpy looking on me. Now I know that this does not mean I'm a 12 but that their clothes run bigger but this was huge. So I told the lady at the counter that I have lost too much weight and asked for a refund of the gift card. She gave me an 800 number to call for that. I was stunned that I can't shop there anymore since that is where I always went.
My friend let me borrow clothes to take pictures in for the next day and they were perfect. So the next day I went to Glamour Shots and had the same photographer I have had the past 5 times but he didn't recognize me this time (he did recognize me in December) so I refreshed his memory and he was stunned. He was stammering and just telling me over and over again how gorgeous I am, etc. He made me feel very sexy when I realized he wasn't just saying it to make me smile. I go into more detail in my journal. Anyway... he takes such good pictures I had a hard time choosing. Very cool. I will be posting the pictures when I get them next week. I took snapshots though and they are posted on my photo journal. If anyone wants to see them, go to this address: http://spaces.msn.com/members/netgoddess/
Sorry for the long post but this was such a milestone weekend for me and I have been just so excited because I am starting to see a difference when I look at pictures. I'm jumping for joy!
