BAck On Track!!
Just wanted to say, "Hooray!"
I went up about 6 pounds last week, and fell into a depression mode. I was exercising, and I thought I was taking care of myself, but when I started looking at my routine, I found out differently.
I tossed out the Snackwell cookies and the Kippers(didn't realize the sodium content). I upped the shakes and the water, and I remained faithful to walking (now walking a mile a day).
I've lost the six pounds and one to boot!
It was clear that I was retaining water from the salt intake, and the cookies didn't help, either (It says right on the box, "not for weight control").
So, I'm back in the saddle again, as they say. Learned my lesson, and am starting to work with the tool again, instead of against it!
Thanks to those for your support given to me during my relapse!
Grace
Kudos to you Grace, not always easy to take a look at our self and admit or see what were doing wrong. Ive had to do that myself recently, it was like I was on a venture to prove that this tool wasnt going to work for me. Im now back on track although I still have room for much improvement, but Im getting there.
U GO GIRL and keep up the great work.
take care
Amanda
Congratulations!! Some people take a LONG time to realize that they need to get back on track! So give yourself a big pat on the back. We need towatch those SF, carb-free, etc products - they are all deceiving - many of them say in tiny letters "not for weight control" but people think they are and eat alot of those types of food. We need to read those labels carefully. I have bought alot of food thinking it's healthy - especially the "low carb ice cream and it turns out it isn't! I ate some the other day and then my stomach was feeling queasy and later I dumped.
