Trying to Stay in Right Frame of Mind

I'm going into my sixth month (4/20), and I'm still not dropping anymore pounds. I was hoping to have 90 pounds behind me, but I'm still hanging at 287, with only 73 pounds lost. I'm trying to eat more, and I'm taking my protein. I even started walking a mile a day this week (I enjoy it,and will probably increase it by the end of next week). Is there anyone out here who is going through the same thing? I'm talking about people who are at least 5'7'' and went into surgery weighing 360 or so?? I really need to see some changes here. I'm getting depressed and believing that I'm doing something wrong. Grace

I'm at 5 months and kinda going through the same thing. I'm shorter 5' 2" and have been working out. Don't be depressed this is all about our bodies still adjusting to the different stages of this process. Hang in there and I betcha you will start moving again. Try changin your exercise routine. I usally do 15 of cardio/running on the treadmill and then go down to fat burning mode (at my heart rate). The next week I switch to doing all fat burning. My eating patterns are still the same. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks,Ruth. I've already gone through my kitchen to check on all things that may hinder loss, and I'm increasing my water. At least I like walking a mile a day. I'm hoping to be up to two by the end of next week. Grace

I stalled for a little over three weeks and it just broke this last week with a 4.5 lb weight loss. I did start increasing my protein which I think helped. Don't get discouraged it will happen. Just think of how far you have come - the rest is bound to happen.
