Unfortunately we will all have to deal with that - some before others. I sympathize with you on that one. Have you tried some calomine lotion or something to keep the area moist? Or will that make it worse? I will say a prayer so that you will find some relief to your situation until you can get your TT.
I'm only now beginning to notice that stomach hangs a little lower than it used to. It's really uncomfortable when I'm walking.
As for the constipation, join the club, and check out the main board. There are many different solutions to the problem, and what works for one doesn't work for another. I'm taking MoM once a week, and it seems to work for me. At least right now.
Hope you feel better,
Grace
I don't have the skin issue as much but I have the trouble going #2 issue. I can sit there for an hour and nothing comes out. Actually I finally broke down and got a astool softener last night. It worked but I had such bad gas pains this morning as well as 2 morning's before that. Horrible pains and if I wasn't positive they were gas I would have had my hubby call a rescue. I hope your TT comes before you know it and you never have that problem again. Is there anything they can give you for the itching? I am on Loratadine (sp) for my hives and itchy skin. It works wonders. Maybe you can get on something like that.
Best of luck to you

Manda - First of all congrats on your amazing weight loss! You are doing astoundingly well!
No advice on the #2 thing, my doctor recommends milk of magnesia which doesn't seem to do much for me. Maybe I go a couple of times a week and I just adapt.
As far as the skin issue, that's something we are all dealing with, BLAH! But maybe this would work for you: I have a gigantic abdominal hernia and I'll have that repaired and have my TT at the same time. In the meantime my doctor recommended that I wear something to hold my tummy in to protect the hernia. So every day I put on lots of powder for dryness and wear a girdle type thing and nothing rubs against anything else. Maybe this will help you too? Good luck! Hugs, Sandy
Hey Manda
Amazingly, I have never had any probs with going potty. Always have been regular, 2 times a day, but my mom takes a stool softener and gas-x to take away the gas pains. She says it works pretty well for her.
As for the ulcers, I had them really badly, I even sent some pics to my insurance to support my request for TT. My doc precribed chlortrimazole, but before that I used desitin and baby powder and that worked fine. Hope it helps!! Keep up the good work

Early on I too had the #2 problem and talked to the docs nurse... she suggested Benefiber. I use a tablespoon everyday in my protein drink and it works fine. I usually go everyday but if not it is everyother day for sure. Benefiber dissolves into coffe or tea or whatever and doesn't have a taste.
As for the skin I don't have that problem YET. Hope you get some releif soon.
